My Teaching Philosophy
As a business faculty member, my goal is to motivate students to develop business acumen and create an engaging environment where students actively apply their knowledge to the business world. My teaching philosophy includes practical preparation in which students participate in classroom discussions, formulate answers to questions and lead group projects. This philosophy bolsters key concepts, encourages collaboration, cooperation and individual accountability.
Business Administration concepts cannot be learned by merely memorizing facts in textbooks. The role of the teacher is to spark the students’ curiosity about how business organizations implement management practices around the world. To these ends, I practice and constantly refine pedagogical strategies that show how leadership, research, marketing, finance and communication create a solid foundation for sustainable business.
